FAQ
Common questions about golf tournament software
What is golf tournament software?
It is the system that replaces spreadsheets and paper scorecards: online entries, the draw, scoring on the day, the leaderboard and the results report, all in one place.
Do players need to install an app?
No. Players open a scoring link, or scan its QR code, in the browser on any modern phone.
Which formats are supported?
Stableford and stroke play, gross and net, with the course handicap allowance you set. Team and better-ball formats are not available yet.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Run one event with up to 24 players and use registration, scoring, the leaderboard and reports before deciding to upgrade.
Can I take entry fees online?
Yes, in beta. You connect your own payment account, players pay when they register, and you can refund an entry in full from the organiser dashboard.
How secure are the scoring links?
Each link is unique to a player and only works while the event is active. Organisers can revoke or regenerate a link at any time. Links are revocable rather than time-expiring.
Can I run a league or season-long series?
Not yet. RoundHQ runs individual events today; leagues, series and order-of-merit standings are on the roadmap.
Which languages does RoundHQ support?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Swedish, for organisers and for the public registration, scoring and leaderboard pages.
